DESCRIPTION:Annual Regional – Team Championships \nOnly RACE GRID PLAYERS eligible for this tourney (NOT MASTERS players unless they also play RACE GRID) \n  \n– Voluntary Participation \nTiming:                 Approximately mid-February– on Saturday or Sunday \nTwo separate tournaments:  Sniper & Standard   —- Tournament Format:  Round Robin 9 ball \n______________________________________________________________________ \n  \nTeam Requirements: \n\nTeams – only those that played in a Division Cup are qualified to play in the Vegas Cup. Teams attended division Cup may substitute or add players –  min 3 from core division cup teams and up to 2 substitutes from non-attending division cup pool of players.\nMatch requirements: a player must have played 18 matches in 2023 (all leagues combined); plus 2 matches in 2024 session 1.  All fees current.\nA player must have min 2 seasons of play – ie. No season 3 new adds will meet eligibility.\nYou can have 5 players max qualified for a Vegas Cup team (for substitutions) – but they must all meet the above requirements.\nOf course\, 8 separate weekly matches in one season is a requirement for nationals.\n\n  \nTournament Format: \nSniper: \nSame as Season Regional details \nStandard: \nSame as Season Regional details \n  \nPrize (each tourney the same – sniper & standard): \n\n\n\n1st Place Team\n2nd Place Team:\n3rd Place Team:\n\n\nFree team entry to nationals \n$1400 in travel money \nPaid in vegas – else goes to 2nd place team\, etc or held for another slot next year \nNO ENTRY FEE PRIZE MONEY.\nFree team entry to nationals.  If not used it will go to 3rd\, etc. \n  \nEntry fees up to $1000 \nDoes NOT have to attend nationals; may keep money.\nNo Free team entry. \n  \nEssentially this slot gets paid IF there is money exceeding the limits paid for 1st and 2nd. \nEntry fees after 2nd place paid; 3rd place is max $1000 \n  \nIf entry fee money left over; 4th place team receives.
