League ‘rules’ are slightly different per league.
The definition of an ‘league specific rule’ is something unique that is different than the other league types.
We clarify these so that the players know the difference between local leagues that are different, and, so the players know where they vary from national rules as to avoid confusion later when visiting national.
RACE GRID League:
Format – we play races locally, however at National tournament we play a 5 x 5 round robin format.
Timeouts – there are no timeouts at the national tournament, however locally we allow them. See timeout section.
Three (3) foul rule – Although national it applies to everyone, locally in the RACE GRID league this rule only applies to skill levels 5 through 9 – both players in the match have to be this level. Thus lower players cannot 3 foul a higher player, nor can a higher level player do this to a lower player.
Double Play Rule – see attendance section for more details. Short version is that a player can play twice in a night locally but not at national as a forfeit would be awarded if a team was short a player for a match.
