ENTRY FEES
Costs are $75.00 per team if one team plays or $60.00 per team if two teams play. $5 per entry will be collected as an admin/greens fee.
RULES OF PLAY
- Game: 9-Ball
- Format: Team Race to 14 games
- Captains flip a coin to determine who is home or visitor. (Coin in clipboard)
- NO TIMEOUTS
- Home Team Players remain on their table for each round. Visiting Team players rotate.
- The ACS 2025 Nationals Rule Book will be used for any rule questions (one with each clipboard)
- SUBSTITUTIONS
- Team Captains may substitute any player in the line-up for any other eligible player on their roster prior to the start of each round only
- The opposing Team Captain must be notified of any changes in the line-up.
- If that same player is re-inserted into the line-up after sitting out one round, they must be re-inserted into the same player slot they were originally assigned.
- Home Team Captain calls out table assignments for each round, keeps score.THE MATCH IS NOT COUNTED UNLESS BOTH CAPTAINS SIGN A COMPLETED SCORESHEET. SIGNED SCORESHEETS ARE CONSIDERED FINAL. NO ALTERATIONS OR ERRORS WILL BE CONSIDERED AFTER IT IS SIGNED AND TURNED IN.
- LEAGUE MANAGER/DIRECTOR HAS FINAL SAY ON ALL TOURNAMENT MATTERS AND RULINGS.
TEAM RULES
- A team roster can contain no more than 5 individuals. If your team has at least 6 available players, you may split into two teams of 3 players. However, no more than two (2) teams per a single seasonal team will be allowed.
- Teams will retain their original name and add the number 1 or 2 to the end of their name (e.g. Rising Stars 1, Rising Stars 2)
- Teams will be seeded based on the order they finished in the regular season. Depending upon the number of teams, a split bracket model may be used to manage the overall tournament time more quickly. The seeding model will still be respected if that occurs.
- In the case of an odd number of teams in a single bracket, the First Place team will receive a bye into the second round. If this occurs in a split-bracket model, the highest seeded team in each bracket will receive a bye.
CONDUCT OF MATCHUPS
ALL MATCHUPS WILL BE PLAYED ON THE ASSIGNED TABLES – NO EXCEPTIONS
IF ANY TEAMS ARE GOING TO SPLIT INTO TWO TEAMS, YOU NEED TO INFORM THE LEAGUE MANAGER AS SOON AS YOU ARRIVE FOR PRACTICE/WARM-UPS
ALL PRACTICE STOPS FOR ALL ROSTERED TEAM PLAYERS AT 7:00PM UNLESS DISCUSSED WITH LEAGUE MANAGER PRIOR TO 7:00PM (E.G. YOU HAVE A PLAYER ARRIVING LATE THAT WILL NEED TO WARM-UP)
